Learn the traditional and centuries old hand sewing technique of English Paper Piecing (or EPP for short!).
English Paper Piecing can be used to make whole quilts, cushions or small motifs to attach to other projects. It is also a very portable craft, perfect for taking with you, for on the go sewing!
In this class we will cover:
Materials and tools most commonly used for this craft.
Preparing and basting your pieces.
We will then start work on piecing together this multi-shape panel. We aim to complete most of the panel in the class but you will leave the class with needle and thread to finish off any sewing at home.
Once complete, you can keep making more panels and join together to make a quilt, or attach to a bag or cushion!
Level: Beginner. No experience necessary!
What to bring: Nothing! We will supply all tools and materials

Location: Harwell village hall, near Didcot, Oxfordshire
All tools, materials and patterns are provided as part of the class fee.
There will be a wide range of fabrics to choose from on the day, to make up your own panel.
Classes are for adults only.
